Ben Thanh Station is 1.4 km away, about 15 to 20 minutes on foot, and Saigon Railway Station is 3 km away. Tan Son Nhat International Airport is 6.2 km from the building, so for the airport and the railway station a taxi or car is the practical choice. Ben Thanh is the closest of these and the easiest to reach on foot.

Walks are the easiest way to see the area. Khanh Hoi Park is 500 m from the apartment, a neighbourhood green for a morning stroll, and Chợ Cô Giang, a market 400 m away, is handy for fresh food and snacks. The Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum, 1.3 km away, covers Vietnamese painting and sculpture, and Tao Dan Park at 1.6 km is the larger green space for a longer walk. For history, the pagoda and the museum are the nearest sights worth a visit, and the markets and cafés on the doorstep make eating out simple.
